The term ‘Wedding Day Service’, ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of this website. The term ‘client’ or ‘you’ refers to the user of our website.
The content within this website is for general information and use. Whilst we strive to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied about the accuracy, suitability or availability with respect to the website or products, services, information or related images contained on our website for any purpose. All such information is strictly at your own discretion.

Images used on the website may show products that are not sold by Wedding Day Service and may be used for display purposes only.
Prices displayed on this website include VAT at the current rate, 20%.
We reserve the right to withdraw an item or amend the price of an item at any time, regardless of existing orders.
All payments are to be made in British Pound Sterling.
We endeavour to keep this website operating consistently. However, Wedding Day Service does not take responsibility for and will not be liable for the website being unavailable due to technical issues out of our control.
It is your responsibility to ensure that products and services available through this website meet your specific needs.

The clients/viewers use of this website and any dispute arising from such use of the website is subject to the laws of England.
Our website may contain links to other websites. These websites are provided for further information and to advise you of other local services which may be of interest. We do not endorse the websites. We do not have responsibility for the content of any linked websites.
Our standard weekend hire period is usually Friday – Sunday, midweek hire is Tuesday to Thursday, however we are flexible with days and we can shorten or extend your hire period if the items are not already booked. Some venues require set up on the morning of your wedding and take down after your celebrations have finished or the morning after, this is standard practice with many hotels and venues. We will happily work with your chosen venue if this is their requirement.
Availability of all items will be confirmed before you agree your quote. Once agreed, Wedding Day Service will invoice the client or business hiring the goods. On payment of the deposit and by signing and agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you accept the Conditions of Hire from Wedding Day Service and enter into the contract. Your contract will not be valid if you have not signed the Conditions of Hire and paid the deposit.
All goods remain the property of Wedding Day service at all times.
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your hired items. The remaining balance will be due 6 weeks prior to your hire date (invoice will be sent 10 weeks prior to hire date), along with the completion of a card authorisation form, this is to cover loss or damage of hired items, should it be required. The items will not be available for hire without signed terms & conditions, signed card authorisation form and the final payment. Once the final payment has been received, we cannot issue refunds on items that are no longer required. We will happily exchange items subject to availability. All prices are in British Pound Sterling.
Payments can be made by Direct bank transfer or PayPal.

Purchased items will be posted according to size and weight in protective packaging via Royal Mail or Courier tracked post to your billing address, unless otherwise specified.
All Children’s and Hen Party goody bags arrive in kit form ready for you to create. We dispatch them in this way as they transport better and they stay in the best condition. Alternatively, if you are hiring other items from us for your special day, we can make up the activity bags for a small charge and deliver with the rest of your items. We also offer the same make up service even if you haven’t hired other items from us; just let us know your date and venue and we will quote proportionately.
All posted items are issued with a tracking number to trace whilst in transit. The dispatch of purchased items fulfils our duty of contract. Wedding Day Service does not accept liability for costs incurred by a late delivery or for costs of collecting parcels from a local Post Office or Parcel Depot, if you are not home for delivery or for any other reason.
Wedding Day Service reserves the right to withdraw an order should there be complications with stock levels, payment details or if there was a product description or pricing error. We would refund any payments in full that you may have made. If an item becomes unavailable on your chosen dates due to delayed returns, breakage or lost items, we may be able to offer a similar item. We will not replace any items without your prior permission and agreement.
Delivery and Collection
If you hire one of our wedding packages or anything else from of website, costing over £200, we will deliver free of charge within a 15 mile radius of Edenbridge, Kent. Delivery and collection of hired items to and from your chosen venue or home address can be arranged anywhere within the UK; we will quote you accordingly for our travel time. Free collection and return in person from our office for hired items is available by appointment only. We ask that you keep all wrapping and boxes where applicable to return hired items with the same protection as they were collected. All purchased items will be shipped via Royal Mail or Courier via tracked post to billing address, unless otherwise specified. Once delivered; all hired items are your responsibility until they have been collected or returned to Wedding Day Service. We ask that they are kept in a dry secure environment.
Please keep all wrapping and boxes, where applicable, to return all hired items with the same protection as they were delivered. Failure to package items correctly may result in damage or breakages; you will be charged from your card authorisation form. All hired items should be returned in the same clean condition that you received them. Do not use any bleach or abrasive cloths on hired items. Dirty items will incur a cleaning fee.
Hired items not ready for collection on the agreed date and pre-arranged time will encounter an additional fee.
Delivery and Collection of items by Wedding Day Service must be pre-arranged; we will make every effort to arrive at the specified times, however we will not be held liable for any loss arising directly/indirectly by any delay due to traffic congestion, vehicle breakdown or any other circumstances outside of our control.
Only one promotional discount code can be used per order, wedding or event.
The discount code must be added at time of purchasing items and cannot be added to an order once payment has been made.
Cancellation of Hired Items

180 days or more – 0%
179 days to 43 days – 50%
42 days or less – 100%
If you wish to cancel your contract, all cancellations must be made in writing by the client. Cancellation will take effect from the date of receipt at Wedding Day Service.
We advise you take out Insurance to cover yourselves for any unforeseen circumstances and in the unlikely event of you having to cancel your wedding or event.
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges of Purchased Items
If you are not completely satisfied with our products* they can be returned. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 07845 421241 to notify us of your intention. Pleas return the items to us within 14 days for a full refund (excluding our original postage). All returned items must be in their unused original form with all elements intact. When returning products please include your name, address, telephone number and order reference number. Once your return has been processed, your refund will be transferred on to the original payment card or PayPal account.
If you wish to exchange incorrectly ordered items, please contact us to make arrangements.
*Personalised and bespoke items can only be returned if the item is faulty.
Our terms of sale do not affect your statutory rights.
The client must take full responsibility for all items which are used outside. Should they become damaged, water marked, soiled or affected by weather conditions a payment from your security deposit will be taken. Wedding Day Service reserves the right to withdraw any hired items due to adverse weather, possible damage or safety issues.
Adverse weather conditions may affect delivery/collection of items by Wedding Day Service. We will do our utmost to deliver your hired items to your venue before cancellation of your order. In the event of snow and ice, severe rain and flooding or extreme winds and hurricanes, we may deem it unsafe for staff to deliver or collect hired items. We would contact the client as soon as a decision has been made.
Wedding Day Service shall not be liable in any way for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damages including without limitation as set out in our terms & conditions below –
Personal injury or death caused by negligence
Damage to objects or premises caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Loss or damage of goods either directly or indirectly from the delivery of goods being delayed, prevented from delivery or for any other reason beyond our control by any third party.
Loss of profits or data in connection with the use of this website
This contract is governed by English Law in the Courts of England.
